Exploring
Exploring is a worksite-based program that gives young people one-on-one experience with professionals in a variety of careers. It’s part of Learning for Life's career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed eighth grade) through 20 years old. It's a chance for young people to learn about career choices, increase their self-esteem and develop potential employment contacts. They can choose from several career fields, including aviation, business, engineering, health care, law enforcement and more. Explorer posts match young people's interests with professionals in their communities. The result is a program of activities that helps young people gain practical |
